MA Assembly has during the past years changed direction from acting mainly as a wholesaler to being a development centre as well. We are working fully integrated in the IKEA creating process.
Our task is to develop new fitting solutions, secure standardisation and improve the existing range. To design and develop solutions that decrease the assembly time with the purpose to make it easier for the IKEA customers is of highest priority for us. Another important area is to develop solutions in new and mixed materials to create flexibility during times of high raw material volatility and to secure stable supply.

We source our range that consists of more than 1 500 products on a global basis from more than 100 suppliers. Our Purchase resources are for the time being located in five different countries in Europe and in two places in China. All our products fulfill the KEA specifications and IWAY is compulsory in order to be a supplier to us.
Packaging of fitting bags is one of our prioritised areas. We pack about 150 millions bags yearly in our own developed fully automatic machines. Our packing is done at our warehouse and production units in Slovakia and South China.
Our sales organisation is working globally close to the market. We always strive to act with the IKEA suppliers in focus and the Sales resources are therefore located at five different countries in Europe and four places in Asia. MA Assembly supplies more than 80% of the total need of fittings to the IKEA supplier’s world wide.
