The most important raw material for the MA Lighting is Copper. It is bought locally or imported from Taiwan, Korea or India. Our suppliers are using 500ton/month for IKEA lighting manufacturing.
Lighting is regarded as a zero tolerance area for poor quality and the demands on our suppliers are tough. As today IKEA Components' market share of the IKEA total need of lighting components is 85%.
