IKEA Components develops component solutions for products that carry the IKEA name. We are purchasing and supplying raw materials and furniture components. Two of our major aims are uniqueness and customer friendliness.
Our task is to develop competitive solutions and concepts for raw materials and components to furniture of the IKEA range. The business of IKEA Components embraces the findings of new solutions, purchase and sales of raw material; development, purchase, distribution and sales of furniture components as well as packing bags of furniture fittings.
IKEA Components' expert knowledge of components contributes to making IKEA more competitive. This is possible by creating optimal prerequisites for the IKEA suppliers' purchase of raw materials and components regarding price, quality, functionality, availability and traceability.
Our goal is to:
- Be a Competence centre for selected components.
- Develop and trade raw material and components for the IKEA range.
- Offer a global sourcing of selected components to IKEA suppliers.
