A good travelling week in my home town, Älmhult
4/21/2011 3:03 PM
I am now in the CopenhagenAirport together with my two sons Oliver and Kasper waiting for the flight back home to Shanghai after a very busy week back in our old hometown Älmhult in Sweden.
When I found out that my children had a week off at school at the same time I was going to Sweden I booked tickets for them too.
For me the week has been about long term strategic work and organisational discussions while Oliver and Kasper have been doing all the stuff they miss in Shanghai.
Together with their grandparents they made up a fire in the garden to clean up after the winter, this resulted in two potential new firemen or in worst case the opposite.
While they were enjoying the time with their friends and the nature, I was busy running from one meeting to another, that is somehow the life as a foreigner in the headquarter.
Still I am enjoying very much the intensive and high tempo working climate that a week like this gives and demands.
