The twelfth week at ICOMP, Monday – Wednesday

During our 12th working week at IKEA Components AB, Monday to Wednesday was very similar. We kept on working with concept development in 3D-modeling, where we drew different kinds of solutions, focusing on the function.
On Tuesday we also sent some files to IKEA’s own pattern shop to produce prototypes of our concepts. It’s exciting for us to get them as prototypes! It’s very useful to be able to touch and test them, it makes it easier to see which improvements that needs to be done that isn’t always obvious in our 3D-program. On Tuesday at PM we invited a friend from ICOMP for some food a la Garfield, lasagna, and some cake and chitchat!
At Wednesday we spent some time at a friend’s house playing guitar hero and tried level medium instead of our standard style; easy!
